Style Icons

The fashion industry has always been a major influence on the culture of Western society, so it only seems reasonable that there are people who have been inspired by the industry and have become iconic for their sense of style. These are the people who we aim (but fail) to look like when we step out our front doors.

Giovanna Battaglia

257400_980

The Italian L’Uomo Vogue editor is known for her daring and bold fashion choices that heavily influence Milan (especially), Paris and New York Fashion Weeks. These intrepid risks always pay off, not just because of her high profile, but because she just hits the right notes.

Olivia Palermo

Arguably one of the world’s most beautiful women, the fashion blogger mixes conservative and traditional patterns and styles together, to create something unique and entirely Olivia Palermo.

Leandra Medine

Creator of the hugely popular Man Repeller, Medine’s look cannot be catagorised into anything but eclectic. Her deep appreciation for all forms of fashion has allowed her style to constantly change and evolve into something we should all admire.

Pandora Skyes

She’s the Editor and Wardrobe Mistress of Sunday Times Style,  a brilliant blogger and simply adorable. Pandora Sykes has the most covetable and eclectic wardrobe and anything she puts on becomes instantly chic. Her collaborations with Chanel, Hugo Boss and Liberty London as well as features in GQ, Instyle and the Man Repeller are indicators of her influence upon fashion – this is one woman who knows what she is talking about.

Jeanne Damas

A former French fashion blogger and current model slash designer. Her easy and unfussy style is extremely Parisian and somehow she manages to look 100% killer in everything she wears. We should probably take notes on her  classic high-waisted bottoms, simple tees and tousled hair.

Lou Doillon

The only way you can really describe Lou Doillon is cool; but perhaps most importantly  effortlessly cool. She seeps confidence, French arrogance and exudes tremendous self respect which defines her as an icon and is something we as human beings should aspire to.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Rosie’s style has been well-documented and widely admired for good reasons. She naturally oozes an offhand sophistication with just the right hint of sexy in her every moment – whether that be on the red carpet, going to the gym or running errands. Her versatile style is something to be inspired by for sure and fantastic for us, because it is in fact quite realistic to recreate.

Much Love,
